- Process customer account transactions such as, deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments. Transactions may be either in person, by phone, through the night depository, or by mail.
- Assist in the generation of business through referral of MidCountry products and services. Identify customer needs and promote appropriate products and services. Includes daily customer calls, as well as in person referrals.
- Maintain knowledge of MidCountry Bank products and services, to be able to assist customers and answer questions. Includes awareness of appropriate resources for customer situations, and connecting them to those resources as appropriate.
- Process additional transactions as needed, including but not limited to cashing checks in accordance with bank policy and procedures, processing cash advances and selling official checks. Includes maintaining appropriate controls, balancing and filing.
- Maintain and balance a cash drawer and balance on-premise ATMs (if the location has one)
- Process customer service requests. Examples include, but are not limited to, placing stop payments, assisting with check orders, etc.
- Attend training seminars and bank meetings as required. Includes online training as well as in person. Educated self where opportunities arise.
